This map is inspired by vintage maps dating back to the 1800s. It is overlaid with modern typography to create a harmonious mix between new and old.
All prints are hand-screen-printed unless otherwise stated.
They are then carefully rolled in kraft paper before being shipped out in our super-thick postal tubes.
Fun fact:
Walthamstow is recorded c. 1075 as Wilcumestowe ("the Place of Welcome") and in the Domesday Book of 1086 as Wilcumestou.
