Info:
This symbol originally used in protests against nuclear arms was designed by Gerald Holtom for the British Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament in 1958. It then became known internationally as the "peace symbol" that we know today. Two years later the symbol migrated to the USA appearing on a pamphlet for the Committee for Nonviolent Action — an American anti-nuclear group. By the mid-1960s, the peace symbol was popping up on pins, Vietnam protest posters, and T-shirts and soon it was seen everywhere — scribbled haphazardly on public surfaces in chalk, spray paint, marker - it became a call to fellow pacifists. With continual war ravaging the world, it has never been more relevant today. We have kept the symbol pure combining it with iconic 70s font and a fresh neon outline.
