This map is inspired by vintage maps dating back to the 1800s. It is overlayed with modern typography to bring a harmonious mix between new and old.

Islington’s Victorian homes and quiet backstreets, popular with families and liberal politicos, contrast with its commercial heart. A well-heeled crowd frequents Upper Street's indie stores and Camden Passage antiques market by day, and trendy pubs and eateries at night. Dance performances at Sadler’s Wells play at the Almeida Theatre, and performances at the Union Chapel church are part of the vibrant arts scene.
All maps are hand screen-printed in our South London studio.
The maps are then thoroughly checked over and carefully rolled in brown paper before being shipped out in our super thick postal tubes.
